Gabriela Ariza started her IT journey in web development. After pursuing her Master’s at DePaul University she decided to transition into cybersecurity.

Gabriela worked with the second largest county in the nation, securing some of the most important elections in modern history. Now she works in protecting and analyzing government infrastructure for state and county governments across the US.

Gabriela has a side business to raise funds for her non-profit called HaITian Common Space. It is a tech center encouraging the next generation to learn and love tech.

Gabriela is a blogger for CompTIA, one of the largest tech certification companies in the world. She is also a speaker at cybersecurity conferences and live broadcasts. She has used her platforms to raise money especially during the COVID-19 pandemic through Twitch and DevAroundtheSun.
